My precipitation simulation takes forever - The simulation times are hours and more. How can I speed up simulations?

When you perform precipitation kinetics simulations, the calculation times are very long (hours and more)

Precipitation kinetics simulations in MatCalc are usually a matter of seconds or minutes. All algorithms in this software are optimized for computational efficiency. As a rule of thumb, simulations should not take more time than a few minutes. Or maybe one or two hours, depending on the complexity of the simulation.

MatCalc controls the time step automatically, depending on the rate of change of the internal parameters

1. If MatCalc is running
   • Open the 'View' menu and select 'Restore window positions'
2. If you do not see the application window
   • Close all running instances of MatCalc. Eventually kill all hanging threads.
